SUMMER is not over yet as festivals continue to bring music and fun to revellers in Reading.

Stories In The Park, a dance music festival aimed at University of Reading students, will be hoping to put on their 'biggest party' yet at Palmer Park this September.

The music event which debuted in September 2019, was due to take place at Palmer Park in June and September this year.

However, it appears on social media that the event is going ahead on September 25 with Chase and Status, DJ Fresh, Macky Gee, Majestic, Notion and others set to perform.

Other acts to perform on the second stage include Mele, GW Harrison and Billy Cocks.

The open-air concert will play live music with DJ's bringing you dance classics.

The organisers said: "We are so excited to return on this date and put on the biggest comeback party Reading has ever seen. We are going to put on a show that will go down in history and we can't wait for all of our customers to experience it."

The festival also promises to have increased capacity so more people can attend and bosses have made a 'huge investment in production, staging and lighting'.

Adding: "We work collaboratively with the local council and community to achieve this."
