She began her career in journalism at the Bracknell News, where she qualified as a senior reporter, covering human interest stories and the courts. She holds a bachelor's degree in Journalism from Bournemouth University and is NCTJ Gold Standard qualified with 100wpm shorthand. Away from the newsroom, she enjoys long walks with her cocker spaniel Henry.
