A WOODLEY man has died after contracting coronavirus earlier this year, a court has heard.
Christopher Snipp died at the age of 73 at Royal Berkshire Hospital on September 28, Berkshire Coroner's Court heard on Wednesday (October 1).
A cause of death has been proposed as 1A, covid-19 and 1B, mesothelioma, a type of cancer linked to asbestos exposure.

Senior coroner Heidi Connor told Christopher's family that it is likely his official cause of death will be declared as a combination of both diseases.
"It may well be both rather than one or the other," she said.
A full inquest is listed for January 17, 2024.
