Reading FC have opened contract negotiations with Tom Holmes.
The 22-year-old academy graduate impressed during his breakthrough into the Royals first team during the 2020/21 season.
Holmes' current deal expires at the end of the 2021/22 season.

He is one of ten senior players who are out of contract at the club next summer.
It is understood that Holmes will be offered a three-year deal at the club.

Fellow defender and academy graduate Tom McIntyre has recently signed a new deal at the club.
