Cambridge players celebrate promotion to League One last season
Reading FC academy graduate Sam Smith has found a new club following his release from the Royals.
Smith has penned a two-year contract with League One club Cambridge United.

The 23-year-old struggled to make a breakthrough at the Madejski Stadium and only made 11 appearances for the club.
He has been sent on several loan spells, including a stint with Cambridge during the 2019/20 season.

Smith was also sent out on loan to Oxford United, Cheltenham Town, Shrewsbury Town and Tranmere Rovers.
