Glastonbury Festival would swallow this Reading town whole

Glastonbury is the festival everyone wants to attend: the biggest artists, biggest stages, but also one thing that always gets mentioned is the event's size.

The festival opened its doors to attendees on June 25 for five days of music, performances and other quirks the event has in store.

Neil Young and Olivia Rodrigo will headline the Pyramid Stage, with other highlights including Charli XCX, Rod Stewart, The Prodigy and Wolf Alice.

But just how big actually is Glastonbury Festival? We found a handy map to lay the size of the festival over areas in Reading.

Placing Worthy Farm, where the festival takes place, over Bracknell town centre, we can see just the sheer size of the event.

(Image: gsp8181)Glasto doesn't quite cover the area of Caversham with the affluent Heights area narrowly escaping the behemoth.
