The following cases were heard at Reading Magistrates’ Courts.
Brent Cavalier, 47, of Two Saints, 210 Newtown Road, West Berkshire, pleaded guilty to assaulting Kevin Rumble by beating him in Newbury on December 31, last year. Was sentenced to a conditional discharge of 12 months. There were no orders for costs.
Constantin-Adrian Negoita, 25, of 6 Foxhays, Road, Reading, pleaded guilty to drunk driving on January 1, 2025, on the a329 after consuming so much alcohol that the proportion of 42 ug microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath exceeded the prescribed limit. He was disqualified from driving for 12 months and fined £500.
Scott Douglas, 34, of 17 Merlin Way, Bracknell, pleaded guilty to drunk driving on January 2 this year on Merlin Way, after consuming so much alcohol that the proportion 71 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath, exceeded the prescribed limit. He has been banned from driving from driving for 20 months and fined £700. There were no orders for costs.
Darius Joel, 29, of 168 St Georges Crescent, Slough pleaded guilty to drug driving in Belgrave Road, Slough on October 19, 2023, when the proportion of a controlled drug, namely Benzoylecgonine, in your blood, namely not less than 244 ug/l, exceeded the specified limit. He was disqualified from driving for 16 months and fined £162. There were no orders for costs.
Joel Gandham, 29, of Bottle Cottage, Bath Road, Littlewick Green, Maidenhead, pleaded guilty to making indecent namely , 5 category B images of a child, on October 20, 2022 in Maidenhead and 4 category C images of a child. He was given a community order of 100 hours to be completed within 12 months and ordered to pay court costs.
