Here is an updated list of all the roadworks motorists should be aware of over the next week in and around Berkshire.

Drivers in and around Reading will have five National Highways road closures to watch out for this week.

And four of them are expected to cause delays of between 10 and 30 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that five closures already in place are expected to carry on this week:

• M4, from 8pm May 2 to 6am May 16, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M4 westbound, junction 10 to junction 12, carriageway closure for major improvement work.

• M4, from 8pm May 10 to 6am May 17, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M4 eastbound, junction 11 to junction 10, carriageway closure for major improvement work.

• M4, from 8pm July 17 2023 to 6am May 18 2024, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 eastbound, junction 8/9 to junction 11, Lane closures for major improvement work.

• M4, from 8pm April 27 to 6am May 21, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M4 westbound, junction 11 to junction 12, carriageway closure for structures maintenance.

• M4, from 8pm April 15 to 6am July 19, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M4 westbound, junction 11 to junction 12, carriageway, services and lane closures for structures work.

National Highways is responsible for maintaining motorways and major A-roads, so closures of smaller roads will not be included in their schedule.

Drivers in and around Bracknell Forest will have a National Highways road closure to watch out for this week.

But motorists will be able to take some solace in the fact that it is only expected to cause slight delays, of under 10 minutes.

The latest expected works list, with notes from National Highways, shows that one closure is due to start over the next two weeks:

• M4, from 8pm May 14 to 6am May 16, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 eastbound, junction 10 to junction 8/9, Lane closures for resurfacing work.

Slough's motorists will have nine road closures to avoid nearby on the National Highways network this week.

And two of them are expected to cause delays of between 10 and 30 minutes.

• M4, from 8pm January 9 2023 to 6am May 17 2024, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 westbound, junction 6, Lane closures for M4 Smart Motorways.

• M4, from 8pm March 4 to 6am May 18, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 westbound, junction 5 to junction 6, Lane closures for M4 Smart Motorways.

• M4, from 8pm July 6 2023 to 6am May 19 2024, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 eastbound, junction 7 to junction 5, Lane closures for M4 Smart Motorways.

• M4, from 8pm April 5 to 6am June 5, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 eastbound, junction 5, slip road and lane closures for M4 Smart Motorways.

And a further five closures will begin over the next two weeks:

• M4, from 8pm May 13 to 6am May 14, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M4 eastbound, junction 5, slip road and lane closures for barrier repairs.

• M4, from 8pm May 18 to 10am May 19, moderate delays (10-30 minutes): M4 westbound, junction 5, carriageway closure between exit and entry slip roads for joint works, diversion via National Highways roads.

• M4, from 8pm May 20 to 6am June 1, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 eastbound, junction 5, Lane closures for construction work.

• M4, from 10pm May 20 to 6am June 1, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 westbound, junction 5 exit slip road, Lane closure for structure works.

• M4, from 8pm May 21 to 6am May 23, slight delays (under 10 minutes): M4 westbound, junction 6, Lane closure for Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead.
