A woman has written a catchy song after the council failed to collect a number of her neighbourhood's bins for almost a week.
Sue Butcher said to the people of Whitley: "Ok everyone, please sing along to my little ditty if you still haven't had your bins collected. (sing to the tune of oh dear what can the matter be)."
She then continued with the following 'ditty.' Feel free to sing it out loud whilst you read this:
Oh dear, what can the matter be,
Our bins are still not empty,
They've been there from Monday to Saturday (nearly),
No one is giving a damn.
We will soon be adding two more to that,
Grey and food bin, now four on the pavement,
Don't overfill or they will be left, again,
No one is giving a damn.
Mrs Butcher ended with "Thank you fans, I will be signing autographs tomorrow, by the full bins."
