Roscoe, a 4-year-old Greyhound, is looking for his loving forever home at Dogs Trust Newbury this Valentine’s Day.

Roscoe came to Dogs Trust as a retired ex-racing greyhound.

With Valentine’s Day celebrated on Wednesday February 14, handsome lad Roscoe is looking for a loving adult-only home, although he could potentially live with older teenagers pending successful meets, where he can relax and feel at home.

A real bundle of joy, Roscoe loves spending time with his handlers, where he is always partial to a treat (or two!).

Roscoe has made a few doggy pals since he has been at Dogs Trust, and he would love an opportunity to meet other pooches on a regular basis.

He could potentially live with another calm dog in the household, ideally another sighthound as he hasn’t been exposed to many other breeds.

Natasha Tarrant, Centre Manager at Dogs Trust Newbury, said:

“Roscoe is a lovely chap who has got on really well with both our staff and other dogs since arriving.

“A gentle lad who has lots of love to give, Roscoe is a big dog with a big heart, and he would be a lovely addition to the right household.

“Roscoe enjoys the company of people, so would love someone to call his best friend.”
