Police are appealing for witnesses following a road rage incident in Reading.

Three men were involved in a fight following an apparent road rage incident on Basingstoke Road sometime between 8.30 pm and 8.45 pm on Friday February 2.

Members of the public broke up the fight and the men involved drove off.

The men are described as two white men, one wearing a grey tracksuit and the other wearing a black parka jacket and dark joggers. They were in a black Vauxhall car.

The other man is described as black and aged between 20-30. He was in a silver car.

Investigating officer PC Clare Carroll said: “I am appealing for anyone with information about this apparent road rage incident to please get in touch.

“It was reported to us by one of the members of the public who helped to break it up so we would like to check the men involved are okay.

“I would also urge any nearby residents with CCTV cameras or video doorbells, or anyone with a dash-cam who was driving in the area at that time, to please check their recordings in case they have captured anything that might help our investigation.
