It has been announced that the railway between Reading and Taunton line is closed due to the heavy rainfall we have been experiencing recently.
GWR has released a statement explaining that the line is closed due to flooding and that there will be significant disruption to those traveling.
A spokesperson for GWR has said the following: "Due to heavy rain flooding the railway between Reading and Taunton, the line is closed.
"Train services running to and from these stations may be cancelled, delayed, or diverted via Bristol Temple Meads."
"Disruption is expected until the end of the day."
