With the start of the new year steadily approaching many are making their plans for celebrating on New Year’s Eve.

With that in mind, here is a round-up of events that are happening in Reading to bring in 2024. Happy partying!

NYE at Milk Bar

FREE event at Milk Bar from 6 pm to 2 am with music from Jim B. Donovan.

Expect all vintage vinyl covering pop/rock/soul/hip hop/reggae/jazz and everything in between, along with a midnight countdown and confetti cannons.

Booking a table is recommended to guarantee a seat.

DISCORAMA - NYE at Blue Collar Corner

Join Blue Collar Corner this New Year's Eve to welcome in 2024.

Alongside the best disco classics DJs, there will be extra dancefloor space and all the street food traders will have special NYE meals available alongside their normal delicious menus.

New Year’s Eve Gala at The Reading Room

The Reading Room will be hosting a spectacular night with an in house DJ, a reception with champagne and canapés, and food from their bespoke four-course tasting menu created for the occasion.

At the stroke of midnight, welcome 2024 with a glass of bubbly at midnight and mini gourmet burgers.

New Year's Eve Burlesque Extravaganza at the Narrowboat

Ring in the new year by stepping into a world where feathers, sequins, and laughter reign supreme.

Expect powerhouse singers with a blend of sultry jazz, seductive blues, and toe-tapping post-modern jukebox.

Audience participation is encouraged, and your singing host and dancers will move in and around the tables to make this a truly immersive experience. 

Tickets cost £85 and include a drink on arrival, a delicious three-course meal, and your full evening show.

The Butler's New Year's Eve Party

The night includes open mic with the fantastic Nicole Allan & guests, a buffet, Elvis will be in the building, a free glass of bubbly at midnight, and a silent disco in the left wing with 3 channels.

Tickets cost £10 or £15 on the door.

New Year's Eve at The Oakford
