READING pupils joined their PE teacher on stage for Britain’s Got Talent semi-final performance.

Felix Clements, a PE teacher at Woodcote Primary School in Reading, impressed the judges with his dance performance in the semi-finals of Britain’s Got Talent last night (June 1).

The 25-year-old, from Earley, wowed the judges - Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and Bruno Tonioli - with his breakdancing routine which he performed to I Ain't Worried by OneRepublic.

He was joined on stage by Reading pupils from years four, five and six.

Amanda Holden began the feedback saying: "It's just you. There is something about you. You're so infectious, you're so gorgeous, you're a great teacher and you can see the kids absolutely adore you".

"I just love you", Amanda added.

Simon Cowell praised Felix for having "a regular job" but "having a dream of doing something else".

Simon asked Felix how his life has changed since his successful audition which he responded with "it's been a whirlwind" and he now gets stopped by parents in the playground. 

 

Alesha Dixon called Felix the "coolest teacher on the planet" who will be adored by pupils "for the rest of their lives".

"I hope your dreams come true", Alesha added.

Felix shared that he dreams of opening a dance school to inspire "kids to chase their dreams".

"I hope your dreams come true", Alesha added.

Ant McPartlin said Felix is going back to school "a hero".

Commenting on his performance, members of the public were quick to share their support for Felix.

One person said: "Felix should of made it through to the final. What a great audition and I'm gutted he didn't get through." 

Another said: "Your video was a breath of fresh air! Your authenticity and genuine passion shine through. Keep creating amazing content and stay true to yourself."

Dance couple Duo Odessey and singing sensation Malakai Bayoh were the two acts from last night's semi-finals to make it to the grand final on Sunday.
