AN EARLEY teacher wowed Britain’s Got Talent judges with dance performance, before being surprised on stage by pupils.

Felix Clements, a PE teacher at Woodcote Primary School, impressed the judges with his dance performance on Britain’s Got Talent on Saturday (May 13).

During Saturday’s show, the 24-year-old introduced himself to the judges - Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon and Bruno Tonioli – saying “it’s brilliant teaching kids because I was not the confident kid so I love bringing them in and making them feel like they can learn anything.”

Amanda Holden asked Felix if Woodcote Primary School knew that he was going on Britain’s Got Talent, which he replied saying “no”.

Felix was left speechless after three rows of Reading pupils then popped up to surprise him, shouting “yes we do!”

His dance routine, performed to Balance by Lucy Spraggan, received a standing ovation from the audience and judges.

Simon began the feedback, saying: “I thought that was stunning, and obviously you’re a very very popular teacher”.

Amanda continued: “That was absolutely amazing. Your pupils were just looking at you in adoration.

“Having a special teacher in your life is absolutely everything.”

Alesha added: “When you’re a solo performer to fill that stage is very difficult and you did that brilliantly. Brilliant audition.”

The Woodcote Primary pupils joined their teacher on stage to celebrate, which Felix called the “best school trip ever”.

With four yeses, Felix goes through to the next round.

He will be in with a chance to win a cash prize and chance to perform for royalty at the Royal Variety Performance.
