An illegal encampment containing dozens of vehicles has been evicted from a Reading park.
At least 32 caravans, vans and cars set up camp around a playground in Arthur Newbery Park, Tilehurst, on August 3.
They left today (August 4) after reports of frustration and anxiety were made my residents to Kentwood councillor Raj Singh.
Cllr Singh said: "The park is used by young kids for sports activities during the summer holidays and the dog walkers.

"The surrounding area of the park has elderly residents who feel vulnerable, anxious, frustrated with the situation and stayed awake last night."
He said an eviction notice was issued to the camp on Wednesday with a deadline for leaving set for today.
Aerial photographs taken by drone operator Tony McGinn show the size of the encampment at 7am on Wednesday.
