A police dog has been praised after tracking down a large supply of class A drugs in Reading.

PD Chip’s tracking skills were called in by police which led to two arrests on suspicion of supplying controlled drugs.

This dog is part of the hard-working PD’s in the Dog Section of the force through the Hampshire and Thames Valley areas.

With the help of their handlers, they can sniff out even the craftiest of criminals and bring them to justice.

Other PD’s that have went above and beyond this month include Firearms Support Dog Hooch who tracked down two stolen vehicles in Bracknell and one in Reading. This led to two people suspected of stealing cars being located.

After pursuing a stolen vehicle in Slough, PD Dexter managed to locate the passengers hiding in the bushes – resulting in custody visits for both.
