A 15-year-old boy was arrested in Reading town centre on suspicion of carrying a knife in a public place.
The boy was bailed while Thames Valley Police investigate the incident, which occurred yesterday (July 26) in Station Road.

A spokesperson for the force posted on Facebook: “Don’t be alarmed if you see us taking such actions.
“We are serving our communities and are committed to ensuring the safety of everyone by taking knives off the streets.”
