Woodley Carnival celebrated 60 years in Woodford Park on Saturday.
Stalls from charities and traders, a funfair and an arena full of acts entertained residents.

Food outlets, a beer tent and teas/coffees and cakes baked by the Women’s Institute made sure everyone refreshed throughout the event
Attendees witnessed a classic car show, a dog show and a flower show, alongside displays made by enthusiasts for birds, photography and traction engines.

Kids got to ride the Smiley Train, bounce on an inflatable castle and pet pigs at Hogg’s Petting Farm.
Centre stage were gymnasts, a Hurricane Flypast, dance troupes and cheerleading.
More than 100 stalls were in attendance, bu8t the popular carnival procession was suspended this year due to ‘increasing operational and financial challenges.’
