It's set to be one of the biggest weekends of the year.

Hotels are full, street parties are planned and the supermarkets are full of sausage rolls.

Here's just some of the events taking place today for the Queen's Platinum Jubilee.

1. Reading Water Fest

- 11am – 5pm in the Forbury Gardens, Abbey Ruins and along the Kennet, between Chestnut Walk and the Riverside Museum.

Reading’s flagship Jubilee event. Come along to this free festival to enjoy live entertainment, children’s activities and refreshments, Blue Collar street food, water activities, narrow boats, craft and charity stalls and lots more!

2. Bracknell photography exhibition

Bracknell Library is hosting a special photographic exhibition to celebrate the Jubilee. Using photos of Bracknell at the start of HRH The Queen’s reign as well as photos of visits, this exhibition is a reflection of Bracknell though the ages.

With photos selected from archives, the Bracknell Forest Society and residents themselves, it is a fascinating look at Bracknell across the last 70 years.

3. Party in the Park

This event takes families and friends on a musical journey through the decades, there’ll be live music from the 1950’s, the decade of Her Majesty’s coronation, right through to current times.
