Reading enforcement officers were out in the sun yesterday stopping drivers ignoring road closure signs in Reading town centre.
Roadworks on West Steeet meant that traffic was being redirected to find another route to their destination.

Despite this motorbikes and delivery drivers were seen slipping through a gap between the pavement and the fence surrounding the works.
Police soon arrived to direct on-coming traffic on their way to a diverted route.
