TWO Berkshire areas feature among the best commuter towns for those heading into London by property expert Phil Spencer.
With more and more people now heading back into the office instead of working from home, commuters are on the look out for nice places to live that have the added benefit of being close to the capital.
According to a list put together by Phil Spencer on MoveIQ, there are two areas of Berkshire that are named 'the best' for commuters - Reading and Twyford.
The list is based on train times, affordability, annual season ticket pricesm house prices and what they've got going for them, alongside great transport links, based on data from Yopa and Rightmove.

Phil recognised that Reading is a "firm favourite" with the town having good links into the city, with an average house price of £371,578.
Both Reading and Twyford feature in the top 10.
The fastest train to London from Twyford is 25 minutes, with a season ticket priced at £3,856 and an average house price of £542,090.
Phil said: "If you want to be close to the hustle and bustle but still enjoy a slightly slower pace of life, Twyford ticks the boxes. It’s a much sought-after haven of tranquillity while still offering the perks of being a stone’s throw away from the capital."
The property expert did note how Reading's annual season ticket price is the highest on the list, so it's worth factoring that in.
The fastest train to London takes 25 minutes, with a season ticket priced at £4,736. House prices are cheaper here than in Twford, with an average of £371,578.
Phil said: "Reading has long been a firm favourite among commuters so it’s little wonder it finds its way into the top 3. Outside of its proximity to London, it’s also vibrant, multicultural and family-friendly."
Here's Phil's list in full.
