A MAN has ended up in hospital after being attacked in Newbury.
Police are appealing for witnesses after an attack happened on Andover Road between 8pm and 9pm on Friday, February 25.
The victim, a man in his 20s was walking through City Park at the time.
Police said he suffered a serious injury and had to go to hospital. He has since been discharged.
Investigating officer, Detective Constable Hannah Shailes, based at Newbury police station, said:
“I am confident that someone will have witnessed what happened so I am appealing to anybody who saw this to get in touch with police.
