RUNNERS are gearing up for the Reading Half Marathon today (November 7) after a year of Covid-19.
Participants will be taking part in either the Unleashed Performance Reading Half Marathon, The Green Park Challenge or the Hilton Reading Corporate Challenge.
Runners in the town and across Berkshire will have been training for months, but what weather should they prepare for?
Here's the forecast for Sunday, November 7, according to the Met Office:

It will be dry with patchy cloud and sunny spells.
The maximum temperature will be 12 degrees and it will remain breezy, but with temperatures close to or slightly above the seasonal average.
10 am - 10C and cloudy, less than 5% chance of rain, feels like 7 degrees, wind 11mph
11am - 11C and cloudy, less than 5% chance of rain, feels like 8 degrees, wind 13 mph
12pm - 11C and cloudy, less than 5% chance of rain, feels like 9C, wind 14 mph
