IN TODAY'S modern political landscape, petitions seem to be appearing more often than ever.
You may be wondering, however, what are the most popular petitions out there, and what kinds of petitions the people around you are spending their time on.

Unboxedconsulting.com, a service design and digital product agency, has created a map showing where people are petitioning, what they are petitioning for, and how many votes each one has gained.
According to unboxedconsulting.com, here are some of the key issues that Reading's residents are petitioning to government over:
1. Ban Animal Testing - Fund, accept & promote alternatives to animal testing
Reading West - 223 signatures, 0.215 per cent of total constituents
Reading East: 218 signatures, 0.189 per cent of total constituents
2. Prevent any restrictions on those who refuse a Covid-19 vaccination
Reading West - 578 signatures, 0.557 per cent of total constituents
Reading East: 488 signatures, 0.422 per cent of total constituents
3. Ban the sale of artificial grass
Reading West - 37 signatures, 0.036 per cent of total constituents
Reading East: 58 signatures, 0.05 per cent of total constituents

Reading East: 608 signatures, 0.526 per cent of total constituents
