Data compiled by WeBuyAnyHome, shows nearly an 86% increase in house sale enquiries over the last year in Bracknell Forest.

Windsor and Maidenhead saw a small increase in housing sale requests at 19 per cent, while West Berkshire remained the same as previous years.

The top reason for wanting move is upsizing, with almost one in four homeowners selling their current Berkshire homes for something bigger.

Data also suggests that people are trying to cut down on unnecessary costs as they begin to recover from the pandemic, with nearly 18% of homeowners selling their second home and 6% per cent downsizing.
