Police cordon at Wokingham Waterside Centre
THE body of a man has been found in the River Thames.
Police confirmed that a man's body had been recovered from the river next to Wokingham Waterside Centre at 6.30am this morning.
Ambulance crews attended the scene and confirmed the man is in his 80s and from Reading.

His next of kin have been informed and our thoughts are with them at this difficult time.
The death is being treated as unexplained at this time.
Police said: "Enquiries are ongoing to establish the circumstances around how the man came to be in the water."
