Reading FC striker Marc McNulty has been told that he is not in the thoughts of manager Veljko Paunovic ahead of the new season.
The Scottish striker has endured a frustrating spell at the club since arriving at the club from Coventry City in 2018 on a £1m deal.

28-year-old McNulty has been sent on two loan spells to Hibernian and Sunderland over the past couple of years, as well as a stint at Dundee United on a season-long loan.

He has not featured in any of the pre-season fixtures and has been training with the U23's as an exit from the club either on a temporary or permanent basis appears inevitable.
McNulty has made just 17 Reading appearances.
