Veljko Paunovic will have to wait until next week to find out what the club will be able to do in the transfer market.
The Royals are currently one of three clubs in the Championship to have been placed under an embargo by the EFL for breaching Profit and Sustainability guidelines.

Speaking after the 3-0 pre-season defeat to West Ham United at the Select Car Leasing Stadium on Wednesday night, the Royals boss confirmed that the club hopes to be given further clarification on possible restrictions next week.
The Royals boss said: "At the moment, there is no update on transfers.

"When the moment comes, and it'll probably be next week, we will make decisions if we have enough or if we need more."
The Royals are yet to make any new signings this summer, but have recently had Kyle Edwards and Achraf Lazaar on trial.
