THAMES Valley Police say they are unaware why armed officers were present at Sainsbury’s in Calcot, last week.
Police were spotted in the car park of the Reading supermarket at around 9.30pm on Thursday, June 3.
Pictures showed several officers at the Bath Road store, who could be seen making an arrest while shoppers were reportedly asked to stay inside.
