2. Reading man Michael Mitchell guilty of making 1,000 indecent images of children
A Reading man who made more than more than 1,000 indecent images of children will be sentenced at Crown Court in the coming months.
Michael Mitchell, of Havergate Way, Reading, pleaded guilty to three counts of making indecent photographs of children at a hearing at Reading Magistrates' Court this morning (Thursday, April 8).

A new burger restaurant could be coming to Reading town centre, with plans submitted recently to transform a vacant furniture store.
Maz Foods Ltd has submitted an application to Reading Borough Council (RBC) turn the former Ponden Home store at 10-12 Oxford Road into a restaurant called Burger Base.
