Berkshire is a highly sought after area with homebuyers looking to live near the countryside but still be close to the capital.

Real estate company Zoopla has compiled a list of the places in Berkshire where the lowest average house price was paid over the last 12 months.

Bracknell comes out on top with the average price paid for a home at 367,131 – nearly £112,000 less than the average house price in neighbouring Wokingham.
