A teenage boy has been discharged from hospital after he was headbutted, punched, kicked, and stamped on his face and stomach. 

Thames Valley Police has arrested a teenager in connection with the incident in Reading.

At 9pm on Sunday, December 13, a 17-year-old boy was walking with his friends in Friar Street when they were approached by two men outside CEX shop.

The victim was separated from his group of friends by one of the culprits, who walked him to Victoria Park. 

Once they arrived at the park, the attacker stamped on the victim's stomach and face, headbutted him and kicked him too.

Thames Valley Police has arrested a teenage boy in connection with a robbery in Reading.

Police said the 17-year-old boy suffered serious eye, facial, and arm injuries, which required treatment at the Royal Berkshire Hospital.

He has since been discharged.

A small quantity of cash and a bus ticket was stolen during the attack.

As such, a 15-year-old boy from Reading was arrested on January 5 on suspicion of robbery. 

He has been released on police bail until February 2.
