Mrs Collins, who worked in local government, recently celebrated her 70th birthday and is a regular at the Rose Kiln Lane club.

On this particular trip, she turned pennies into thousands of pounds on the Fort Knox machine.

When asked what she would do with her winnings, Mrs Collins said she was putting £6,000 away to use for future holidays with her husband.

Their trips to Malaysia and Australia were cancelled this year due to Covid-19, so the couple are looking forward to travelling again once it's possible to do so.

Mrs Collins said: "It's a great feeling to actually have some good news to talk about.

"I almost fell off my chair when I realised I'd won and couldn't really believe it, especially as it was such a small bet!

"As an avid traveller, I can't wait to put some money towards trips abroad with my husband once the pandemic has settled down."

Jay Pillai, general manager at Grosvenor Casino Reading South, said: "We're really pleased for Jenny after her recent win of more than £16,000.

"It's always exciting to see our regular customers win the jackpot prize, and we hope she enjoys spending her winnings by jetting off on holiday soon."
