THERE is nothing better than picking your own fresh produce and enjoying a homegrown delight.
With such a simple activity, it is fun to visit a local pick your own farm with your family, friends and loved ones.
Delicious strawberries are still in season so if you want to make the most of the Summer holidays, why not go fruit picking?
Luckily, Berkshire is full of beautiful and breathtaking countrysides and a lot of PYO farms.
Bear in mind that if you're after a specific fruit or vegetable, it is best to call the farm to find out before heading there.
Copas Farms, Cookham
Strawberries are no longer available at this farm but you can pick raspberries, sweetcorn and plums.
Open between 10am and 4pm Tuesdays to Sundays, the farm is closed on Mondays.
Entry costs a minimum of £4 per person, which is taken off the produce you pick and buy.
If you drive to Iver Copas Farm you can get some strawberries there!
Gray's Farm, Wokingham
If you're after strawberries then Gray's Farm in Wokingham is where you need to head this weekend.
Social distancing measures are in place. There is no entry charge, no need to book and you only pay for what you pick.
There is also free parking.
The farm has strawberries, raspberries, gooseberries, blackcurrants, redcurrants, rhubarb, spinach, broad beans, cabbage, carrots, beetroot
marrows, courgettes and new potatoes.
