DETECTIVES are on the hunt for the owner of a musical instrument following a suspected burglary in Reading.
The owner of the mandolin is asked to come forward after the item was found dumped in the Whitley area.
Police said the owner has not reported the mandolin missing.
At about 2pm on Wednesday, July 8, officers attempted to stop a man cycling down Canterbury Road with an instrument case.
The case was then recovered by officers on Barnsdale Road with the pictured mandolin inside.
