A CELEBRITY quizmaster will be hosting an online quiz to help raise money for Reading's homelessness prevention charity, Launchpad, this week.

The quiz will be held on Zoom at 8pm and will test participants knowledge on rounds including history, sport, pop culture and music.

Contestants will battle it out for some first, second and third prizes and a randomly selected participant will also receive a prize.

The charity said the questions are best suited to adults but families are welcome to join.

The quiz costs £5.98 per household to enter and will help to raise funds for extremely vulnerable people in Reading during the coronavirus pandemic.

All funds raised from the quiz will go towards Launchpad's Covid-19 emergency appeal so staff can continue providing Launchpad clients, and the local community, vital help and resources during the crises.
