The following cases were heard at Reading Magistrates’ Court:

January 9:

GENC HYSA, 44, of Highgrove Street, Reading, admitted drink-driving in Carey Street, Reading, on December 17. Found to have 75mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath, the legal limit being 35mcg. Fined £120 and ordered to pay £32 victim surcharge. Also ordered to pay £85 court costs. Disqualified from driving for 18 months.

ARMARNI RODRI, 20, of Prospect Street, Reading, admitted possession of class A drug cocaine in Reading on April 18, 2019. Fined £198 and ordered to pay £30 victim surcharge. Also ordered to pay £85 court costs.

MARTIN SWEENEY, 35, of Tamarind Way, Earley, admitted failing to provide a specimen for analysis when asked by police in Earley on December 20. Fined £615 and ordered to pay £61 victim surcharge. Also ordered to pay £85 court costs. Disqualified from driving for 12 months.

MATTHEW TYLER, 27, of Wendover Way in Tilehurst, Reading, admitted drink-driving in St Michaels Road, Tilehurst, on December 21. Fined £507 and ordered to pay £50 victim surcharge. Also ordered to pay £85 court costs. Disqualified from driving for 12 months.

THOMAS WILLIAMS, 39, of Lampacres Shaw, Newbury, admitted stealing a car from Newbury on December 21. Also admitted drink-driving in Bowlers Arms car park in Newbury on December 21. Found to have 82mcg of alcohol in 100ml of breath, the legal limit being 35mcg. Given a community order to comply with rehabilitation activity and 150 hours unpaid work. Also ordered to pay £90 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. Disqualified from driving for 18 months.

ZAFAR ALI, 40, of Carnarvon Road, Reading, admitted possession of clas A drug cocaine in Reading on December 22. Given a conditional discharge for nine months and ordered to pay £21 victim surcharge. Also ordered to pay £85 court costs.

GEORGIE BAILEY, 20, of Lulworth, Reading, admitted being drunk and disorderly in Edgehill Street, Reading, on December 22. Fined £40 and ordered to pay £32 victim surcharge. Also ordered to pay £85 court costs.

DARREN GILES, 38, of The Coombe, Streatley, admitted stealing food items worth £6 from Greggs in West Street, Reading, on December 23. Given a conditional discharge for six months. Also ordered to pay £21 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.

NEIL MANNING, 36, of Crest Close, Reading, admitted stealing bedding worth £500 from Dunhelm in Calcot on November 2. Also admitted possession of class A drug Heroin in Calcot on November 2, and admitted commission of a further offence while subject to a conditional discharge following a conviction for theft. Fined £120 and ordered to pay £32 victim surcharge. Also ordered to pay £85 court costs.

JIRI PLECHATA, 30, of Link Road in Newbury, admitted being drunk and disorderly in a public place in Market Street, Newbury, on December 23. Fined £166 and ordered to pay £32 victim surcharge. Also ordered to pay £85 court costs.

ALEX REID, 54, of Stuart Road, Newbury, admitted being drunk and disorderly at The Railway in Tavern Pub, Hungerford, on December 22. Fined £40 and ordered to pay £32 victim surcharge. Also ordered to pay £85 court costs.

RADU DIMA, 31, of Adwood Court, Thatcham, admitted being drunk and disorderly in Cheap Street, Newbury, on December 8. Given a conditional discharge for six months and ordered to pay £21 victim surcharge. Also ordered to pay £85 court costs.

EMLYN HEPBURN, 33, of Maiden Close, Reading, admitted two counts of common assault in Reading on June 18, 2019. Given a conditional discharge for 12 months and ordered to pay £21 victim surcharge .

MICHAEL MCNAMARA, 29, of Newtown Road, Newbury, admitted being drunk and disorderly in Sainsbury's, Newbury, on December 9. Also admitted being in possession of class B drug cannabis in Newbury on December 9. Given a conditional discharge for 12 months and ordered to pay £21 victim surcharge.

JAMIE MOORE, 18, of Chilcombe Way, Earley, admitted stealing two large industrial rubbish bins worth £1,000 from WHSMITH in Lower Earley on January 13, 2019. Also admitted arson namely damaged by fire a youth shelter worth £1,100 in Reading on Sunday, January 13. Admitted criminal damage to a custody detention cell in Reading on February 6, 2019. Fined £733 and ordered to pay £1,650 compensation. also ordered to pay £73 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.

JENI WILLS, 59, of Margaret Close in Reading, admitted dishonestly making a statement to the department for work and pensions to benefit from income support on Henley on Thames on November 21, 2017. Also admitted dishonestly making a statement to the department for work and pensions to benefit from carer's allowance on Henley on Thames on July 11, 2017. Given a community order to comply with rehabilitation activity and must pay £85 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.
