AFTER a successful launch at Christmas, Winter Screens is returning to St Laurence's Church in Reading this February for another week of films.

A theme of fire and ice will replace the Christmas scene in the 800-year-old church in the town centre.

The cinema will be back 'bigger and better' in February.

Not only is there new décor and lighting, all seating is now on Winter Screens' luxurious giant bean bag chairs, complete with blankets.

There is new ticket pricing and a wide selection of wines and craft beers from local breweries available at the bar.

For families looking for something to do during the half term week, the cinema will be showing two films a day, including an afternoon matinees of family favourites such as The Princess Bride, the new live action version of The Lion King, and sing-along versions of The Greatest Showman and Beauty and the Beast.

The five evenings of film start with a 25th anniversary screening of Braveheart, followed by this year's leading contenders at the Oscars Joker and Once Upon A Time in Hollywood.

There are also screenings of Baz Luhmann’s Romeo and Juliet as well as Moulin Rouge.

Tickets are £16.50 for adults and £10.50 for under 18's.
