A READING-BASED boatyard has been recognised for its 40-year business relationship with UK staycation specialist Hoseasons.

Caversham Boat Services was handed its Hoseasons Partnership Excellence Award at the self-catering specialist’s 14th annual Gala Awards evening, at the Hilton Brighton Metropole, Brighton, East Sussex.

Gordon Wicks, co-owner of Caversham Boat Services said: “It’s great to have had such a long and rewarding partnership with Hoseasons.

"We’ve worked side by side over the years, and one consistent has always remained - our shared passion for great customer service.

"That’s why we’ve enjoyed such a fruitful partnership and why we continue to work together to this day.”
