Police warn van drivers to chain and padlock items
DRIVERS have been urged to chain and padlock their items to the inside of their vans following a spate of burglaries in Whitley.
Thames Valley Police has alerted residents to a high number of vehicle thefts which have taken place over the past two days.

They have warned van owners to "mark belongings and not leave tools in vehicles unattended".
The force tweeted: "Chain & padlock items to the inside of the van & consider a Van Vault. Park near CCTV & fit a Thatcham Cat1 alarm."
