The following cases were heard at Reading Magistrates’ Court:

September 6: 

ANDREW TAGGART, 54, of Polehampton court in Twyford, Reading, convicted of being the person named on a vehicle licence which was subject to back duty payments which were not paid on March 22 in Reading. Fined £660 and ordered to pay £169.41 vehicle excise back duty. Must also pay £200 court costs.

September 9:

LOUISE BEASLEY, 25, of Drovers Way in Woodley, admitted failing to comply with requirements of a community order by not attending appointments on July 31, August 7, and August 14. Community order to continue and must pay a fine of £40, plus £30 victim surcharge.

KASIM BHATTI, 19, of Beechwood Avenue in Woodley, admitted failing to comply with requirements of a community order by not attending unpaid work on April 28, and August 4. Community order to continue now including 107 hours unpaid work. Also ordered to pay £60 court costs.

KEELEY BROWN, 47, of Kingsfisher Drive, Woodley, admitted failing to comply with requirements of a suspended sentence order but not attending unpaid work on June 19, July 10, and July 24. Sentenced to prison for five months, suspended for 21 months, and ordered to pay £30 court costs.

CRAIG DAVIS, 32, of Goring Lane, Reading, admitted failing to comply with requirements of a community order but not attending supervision appointments on August 30, and March 26. Community order to continue and ordered to pay a fine of £60, plus £60 court costs.

ALEXANDER HARDING, 40, of Willow Street in Reading, admitted failing to comply with requirements of a suspended sentence by not attending appointments on July 10 and July 5. Sentenced to prison for 14 days suspended for 18 months and must comply with rehabilitation activity. Ordered to pay £30 court costs.

RUFUS JOSEPH, 55, of Lulworth Road, in Whitley Wood, admitted failing to comply with requirements of a community order but not attending unpaid work on July 16 and July 18. Sentenced to prison for 12 weeks suspended for 18 months and must comply with rehabilitation activity and original unpaid work requirements. Must pay £60 court costs.

MICHAEL KILBANE, 34, of Whitley Wood Road, Reading, admitted failing to comply with requirements of a community order by not attending planned probation appointments on May 30 and June 6. Given a revised community order which includes rehabilitation activity and drug rehabilitation activity. Must also pay £30 court costs.

DONOVAN LEE, 46, of Rembrandt Way, Reading, admitted failing to comply with requirements of a community order including failing to attend unpaid work on May 2, and failing to attend rehabilitation requirements on May 1. also failed to keep in touch with officers as directed. Community order revised to include a curfew requirement with electronic tag monitoring starting September 9 to October 21. Also ordered to pay £60 court costs.

HANNAH MORRISON, 36, of Rembrandt way, Reading, admitted failing to comply with requirements of a suspended sentence by not attending drug rehabilitation appointments on July 1, July 17, July 22, and August 6. Sentenced to prison for eight weeks suspended for 24 months, also ordered to undertake drug rehabilitation activity and must pay £60 court costs.

KIERON MURPHY, 36, of Corwen Road, Tilehurst in Reading, admitted failing to comply with requirements of a community order by not attending unpaid work on April 1, and April 8. community order to continue and ordered to pay a fine of £100, plus £60 court costs.
