MANY residents were caught up in the heavy downpour of rain yesterday and it looks as if more will hit areas across Reading, Bracknell and Wokingham tomorrow (September 24).
The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for heavy rain, which is expected to bring disruption from flooding.
Showers are predicted to start at around 6am tomorrow morning, with cooler temperatures kicking in and stronger downpours becoming thundery by the afternoon.
Forecasters predict the rain will last all day with other parts of Berkshire also being affected tomorrow as well.
Residents are warned that homes and businesses could be flooded, causing damage to some buildings
Fast flowing or deep floodwater is possible, causing a danger to life and some communities may be cut off by flooded roads
There may also be delays or cancellations to train and bus services and driving conditions may be more difficult due to spray and flooding causing road closures.
Power cuts and loss of other services to homes and business may also be expected.
