A SPATE of burglaries are being investigated after a quantity of cash, bank cards and electronic devices were stolen while the victims were asleep.

Thames Valley Police are releasing CCTV images of a man officers would like to speak to following the burglaries.

Between August 10 and Saturday, August 17, four burglaries were reported across various locations in Reading.

These incidents are all believed to be linked.

The burglar entered multiple victims homes when they were asleep in Waylen Street, Argyle Street and Oxford Road.

The offender got through the window whilst the occupants were asleep and stole cash, bank cards and electronic devices.

Investigating officer, Detective Inspector Rich Jarvis, based at Reading police station, said: “I am keen to speak to anyone who recognises this man as I believe he may have vital information that could assist with our investigation into this burglary series.
