A MAN suffered cuts to his lip after he was attacked by two men on a bike in broad daylight.
An 18-year-old victim was approached by two offenders riding a bike at 4.15pm on St Michaels Road in Reading.
The attackers tried to steal the victims phone while the second attacker struck him in the face after a verbal exchange.
The victim sustained a cut lip and required stitches at Royal Berkshire Hospital and has sine been discharged.
A 13-year-old boy from Reading has been arrested on suspicion of robbery.
He has been released on bail until April 25.
Nothing was stolen during the incident.
Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses following a robbery in Reading.
Investigating officer, Detective constable Alan Pearcy based at Reading police station, said: “The incident took place at a busy time of day and I am appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
“In particular I would like to hear from anyone who may have been driving along St Michaels Road and captured the incident on their dash cam.”
