A WOMAN has died after collapsing in the audience at a performance of the pantomime Aladdin starring Cbeebies star Justin Fletcher.
The 65-year-old was watching the 10am show at the Hexagon Theatre when she collapsed and died.
It is with great sadness that we have to announce a member of the audience passed away after being taken seriously ill during this morning’s performance. The Council and everyone at the Hexagon would like to express its sincere condolences to the family of the 65-year-old woman.

Paramedics were called and the show was paused as the auditorium evacuated.
The Hexagon said in a statement on Twitter: "The council and everyone at The Hexagon would like to express its sincere condolences to the family of the 65-year-old woman."
The scheduled 2pm performance of Aladdin was cancelled as a mark of respect.
The Hexagon added: "Unfortunately this afternoons performance of Aladdin will not be going ahead.
"We will be contacting all ticket holders to exchange tickets for another performance or offer a full refund.
"Our sincere apologies for any inconvenience caused."
