HIGHMOOR/Ibis Res did the double on Saturday after successfully defending the Berks Intermediate Cup with a 3-1 victory over Reading YMCA Rapids.
South Reading were due to play Highmoor but they were expelled from the competition after fielding an ineligible player. Rapids were beaten 1-0 by the Division One champions so they replaced them in the final.
Highmoor, cup favourites after thrashing Goring 10-0 in the semi-finals, took a 1-0 lead at half-time when Alex Allen drilled in a shot from 20 yards after 25 minutes.
Ellis Mason made it 2-0 after the break when he flicked in Allen's shot as Highmoor looked to be cruising. Man of the man and skipper Craig Taphouse marshalled the defence well on the rare occasion the Rapids pressed forward. The Rapids got back into it when a looping cross by left-back Steve Woodrow sailed into the back of the net. However, Mason scored within 10 minutes to seal the win.
Reserve team manager Kevin Jefferies said: "We were a lot more up for it than they were.
"We could have scored twice before the first goal went in. We've had a good season, though it's been a long one."
