AARON Kuhl and Craig Tanner are among a host of young Reading FC players who have been told to find a new club this summer.
Kuhl, son of under 23s boss Martin, enjoyed a brief run in the first-team under ex-manager Nigel Adkins before being shipped out on loan to Boreham Wood and Dundee United.
Having returned to the Royals in late 2016, he has struggled to impress manager Jaap Stam and has been told Reading will not offer him a new contract.
Meanwhile Tanner, 22, has enjoyed a successful season at Plymouth Argyle FC, playing an important role in their promotion from League 2.

The forward made more than 30 appearances for the Pilgrims, scoring five goals, but it is not yet known whether he will be offered a full-time deal at Home Park.
Kuhl and Tanner join the likes of Harrison Bennett, Stuart Moore, Joe Trupper, Terence Vancooten, Sean Long, Jack Denton, Dominic Hyam and Harry Cardwell who will also leave the club.
However, winger Tarique Fosu, who spent this season out on loan at Colchester United, Lewis Ward, Jake Sheppard and Zak Jules have been offered a new deal at Madejski Stadium.
Second year scholars Liam Driscoll, Ben House, Joel Rollinson and Ade Shokunbi have also been offered a chance to stay at the club.
Academy manager Lee Heron said: “Our Category One Academy continues to flourish at every level and remains a shining light within youth football, proudly punching above its weight and continuing to produce talented young footballers capable of breaking into the first team at Reading.
“We are absolutely delighted to see that so many talented young players have committed to professional contracts at the club and we are very excited to be offering deals to a number of other young players who continue to develop into exciting prospects for the future.
“And, rest assured, we will also be working very hard to support those who are set to move on to pastures new.
“ Many of these young players have come through this club’s Academy from a very young age and not only do we wish every single one of them all the success for the future, we will also be here to help them forge professional careers in football.
“They will always be a Royal and their progress and development remains extremely important to everyone here at Reading.”
