HIGHMOOR Ibis were dumped out of the Hellenic League Challenge Cup following a comprehensive 4-1 defeat at home to Highworth Town on Saturday.
Two Luke Cousins goals in five minutes midway through the first half put the visitors in control, and the game was as good as over at the break with Ashley Edingbourough having netted.
He grabbed a second on 66 minutes as Highworth moved 4-0 up, with Anthony White’s late effort merely a consolation.
Highmoor Ibis travel to Tuffley Rovers in the Premier Division on Saturday (3pm) before hosting Woodcote Stoke Row in the Reading Senior Cup on Tuesday (7.45pm).
