WYNAND Lamprecht scored his second century of the season as Division 4a table-toppers Binfield cruised to a seven-wicket win at home to Theale & Tilehurst.

Michael Holder (71) and Rob Dimmack (42) led the visitors to a respectable total of 254-9 from their 52 overs, Jack Collett claiming 5-66 after Binfield chose to field.

Lamprecht (106) was in top form along with fellow opener Steve Carson (90), and the hosts reached their target with 55 balls to spare, Chris Morgan 34no.

Theale & Tilehurst host Newbury this coming Saturday.

Dave James (5-47 from 17 overs) and Matt Gill (3-49 from 14) starred for Sulhamstead (174-4) as they beat Henley 3rds (171) by six wickets.

James (54no) completed a fine match alongside Sanjay Dove (63no), the pair adding an unbeaten 100 for the fifth wicket.

Sulhamstead travel to Boyne Hill 2nds this Saturday.

Jeff Sheldon top scored with 43 not out, but Kidmore End (149) suffered a second straight Division 2a defeat as they went down by four wickets to Hayes (152-6).

Kidmore End are at home to Amersham 2nds on Saturday.

Hurst remain bottom of Division 2b after they were narrowly edged out by one wicket at home to Beaconsfield.

Tim Walder top scored with 69 as the hosts were bowled out for 164, Harry Stephens (4-31) the pick of the attack.

Off spinner Phil Higgs (6-36) gave the cellar-dwellers hope of bowling their opponents out, but David Heavyside’s knock of 97 proved crucial in helping Beaconsfield over the line.

Hurst travel to Wargrave on Saturday.

Jack Clark took 5-30 to help Wargrave (64-0) batter Aldershot (61) by 10 wickets, taking just 7.5 overs to knock the runs off.

In Division 3a, Purley on Thames (159) lost to High Wycombe 3rds (161-5) by five wickets.

Purley on Thames visit Wooburn Narkovians on Saturday.

Devan Sharma made 52 for Sonning (156-8), but they dropped to the bottom of Division 3b following a seven-wicket reverse against Ickenham (159-3).

Sonning visit Kew 2nds on Saturday.

Wargrave 2nds (98) endured a six-wicket defeat to Wokingham 3rds (99-4) in Division 5b.

Robbie Jeffrey (98) led Purley on Thames 2nds to the better of a draw against Sonning 2nds.

The Potters amassed 249 despite Mohammed Atif toiling away for 6-93 in 23.2 overs, but Sonning could only reach 206-7 in reply.

Will Ward top scored with 98 as Sam Woodhouse took 6-43.

In Division 6b, Phil Wiggins recorded brilliant figures of 7-52 to inspire Hurst 2nds (113-9) to a dramatic one-wicket win against Theale & Tilehurst 2nds (109).

Bradfield (244-6 declared in 50.3 overs) bossed their draw with Cove 3rds (236-8).

Bradfield host Burnham 4ths this Saturday.

Luke Sinclair smashed a magnificent 151 and Stefan Gordon added 51 as Kidmore End 2nds beat Newbury 2nds by 79 runs in a remarkable Division 7a encounter.

Kidmore declared on 285-6 after 46 overs, and Azhar Udeen then recorded extraordinary figures of 9-46 from 20.3 overs to bowl the visitors out for 206.

No.8 Stephen Collins scored 60 not out for Sulhamstead 2nds (150), but they were hammered by 146 runs at home to Yateley 2nds (296).

Kay Hussain’s 76 was not enough for Theale & Tilehurst 3rds (179) as they lost by seven wickets to Fleet 2nds (181-3).

Karthik Ramanujam top scored with 88 as Bracknell 2nds beat Bradfield 2nds by 35 runs in Division 8a.

The hosts totalled 180-8 in their 40 overs – despite John Bargent bagging 4-41 – and they then restricted Bradfield to 145-9, Saibabu Malisetti taking 4-32.

Sonning 3rds (114) lost to Bagshot 3rds (117-2) by eight wickets, while Gabriel Birch’s 4-32 could not help Wargrave 3rds (120) avoid a narrow one-wicket defeat to Thatcham Town 3rds (126-9).

In Division 9a, Kidmore End 3rds (191-9) lost an amazing game at Maidenhead & Bray 4ths (192-8) by one run.
